Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of YourFacelessFactory (the "Service"). By creating an account, building a template, or generating a video, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

YourFacelessFactory turns a YouTube video, or a short typed idea, into a new narrated video using AI-generated scripts, images and voiceover. You can save your settings as reusable "templates", run them on different source material, and schedule videos to be made and posted to your YouTube channel automatically.

3. Accounts

You can browse the Service and build templates without an account. Generating a video requires a registered account, and you must be at least 18 years old to create one. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative.
• Infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• Impersonate a real person in a misleading or harmful way, or present generated content as real footage of real events.
• Abuse, overload, or try to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

5. Source Material and Copyright

When you submit a YouTube link to rewrite, you're responsible for making sure your use of that material is lawful, whether because you own it, have permission, or your use is allowed under the law where you live (for example as fair use). We don't check source material for copyright before generating a video from it, and we may remove content or suspend accounts in response to valid infringement claims.

6. Your Content and Generated Videos

You keep ownership of the source material and reference images you upload. We claim no ownership of the videos generated for you: as long as you follow these Terms, you may use them as you wish, including commercially. You give us the permission we need to process your input and store your videos in order to provide the Service (see our Privacy Policy).

7. Tokens, Plans and Payment

• Tokens. Videos are paid for with tokens. You can buy tokens at the rate shown on our Pricing page; paid plans get a discount on that rate. Tokens have no cash value and can't be transferred.
• Plans. Free, Starter, Pro and Studio set your monthly included tokens, how many templates you can save, how many jobs can run at once, the video lengths you can make, and your token discount, as shown on the Pricing page.
• Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. Each month's included tokens are added when that month is paid, and unused tokens stay in your balance. You can cancel or change plan anytime from Account settings. After cancelling, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then moves to Free. Upgrading starts at once and is charged for the rest of the current period (with that part of the new plan's tokens); moving to a smaller plan starts at your next renewal.
• Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars.
• Refunds and withdrawal. Tokens are delivered immediately at your request, which ends the 14-day right of withdrawal once they are added (you confirm this at checkout). Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

8. Plan Limits and Changes

Each plan has enforced limits (templates you can save, jobs running at once, and video length). We may change these limits, or the prices of plans and tokens, with notice on the Pricing page. A price change for a plan you already pay for takes effect from your next billing period after the notice, and you can cancel before then.

9. YouTube

If you connect a YouTube channel, the Service uses the YouTube API Services to upload finished videos to it, together with their title and description. By connecting a channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. You're responsible for what is posted to your channel, including following YouTube's own rules, such as disclosing realistic AI-generated content where YouTube requires it. You can disconnect a channel anytime from the Auto-post page.

The example videos on our home page are embedded from YouTube and shown only as examples of video styles. They belong to their creators, who aren't affiliated with YourFacelessFactory. Watching them is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

10. Intellectual Property

The YourFacelessFactory name, website and software belong to us or are licensed to us. These Terms don't give you any rights to our name or branding beyond what's needed to use the Service normally.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent the law allows. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, and we don't guarantee that a generated video will be factually correct, free of errors, or fit for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as liability for gross negligence or intent, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service, your source material, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Termination

You can stop using the Service and permanently delete your account and its data at any time from Account settings. Deleting your account ends any subscription straight away, without a refund for the rest of the billing period or for unused tokens. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these Terms.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will change the "Last updated" date above when we do. For significant changes, we'll give notice on the site before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that can't be settled informally may be brought before the courts of Sweden. This doesn't remove any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country you live in. If you're a consumer and we can't resolve a complaint together, you can take it to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN).
